A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of a tooth, like a false fingernail fits over a nail.
Veneers can improve the colour, shape and position of your teeth. An exact shade of porcelain can be chosen to give the right colour to improve a single discoloured tooth or to lighten the front teeth. A veneer can make a chipped tooth look intact again. Veneers can also be used to close small gaps and if one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to bring it into line with the others.
Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy. Because they are very thin and are held in place by a special strong bond very little preparation of the tooth is needed.

Injection Moulded Composite Veneers
Composite veneers are created by the dentist injecting the resin on to the teeth through a custom-made stent which has been created from a 3D printed model of the patient’s bespoke smile design. This technique ensures a predictable outcome for the patient and an outstanding aesthetic result. Composite veneers can be used to transform a smile by modifying and enhancing the shape and colour of teeth as well as restoring chipped, worn or broken teeth. They can also be used where there are minor mis-alignments of teeth, to give the appearance of straighter teeth.
This latest technique does not require the conventional drilling or preparation of teeth, in the majority of cases. And It can be completed in a single appointment without the need for any local anaesthetic.
